We ran out of time after discussing the best possible sequence for our students. This conversation will continue in our next PLC.
Issues that need further discussion:
Dual credit classes (Personal Finance, Digital Literacy, & Business & Marketing Essentials)
Issue:
- How will students be admitted in JCTC without ACT scores?
- Will there be an entrance exam?
- Should we move digital literacy to 10th grade?
- How would moving digital literacy affect students?
- Is it worth moving digital literacy?
- Digital literacy can't come after MOS (MOS is an advanced computer course)
